JAMS COMPARISON TEST

We are like you, we love fruit jams. Who doesn't enjoy a good fruit spread from time to time, right?

But would you eat just anything just because it's a sweet dessert? Of course you wouldn't.

Well, we feel you. We know how hard it is to find a clean quality fruit jam.

The majority of the conventional mass-produced jams you can find in stores have a lot of ingredients that simply don't belong there. And A LOT of sugar!

That's why we bring you some real fruit jams from Europe.
Homemade, slow cooked the right way, with simple ingredients. Real fruit and low sugar. That's all! Just like our mothers and grandmothers used to make them. Remember?

No pectin, no glucose, no high fructose corn syrup, no colors, no sodium benzoate, no locust bean gum, no potassium sorbate!

To show you our difference, we decided to perform a small experiment. We went in a few stores in Montreal and Toronto and checked the labels on some fruit jams and then compared them to ours.

The results of the jam comparison were stunning. Judge for yourself.

⦿ Our Blackberry Jam is made with wild fruit, has 2 ingredients, 6g of sugar and 27 calories/tablespoon.

Since bilberry is the European cousin of the blueberry and couldn't find any bilberry jam in stores, we compared ours with some blueberry jams.

Our Bilberry Jam is made with wild fruit, has 2 ingredients, 7g of sugar and 28 calories per tablespoon.

The other is also made with wild fruit, but has 5 ingredients, 9g of sugar and 50 calories.

⦿ We saved the best for last. We were surprised to find a blueberry jam that apparently has less sugar (5g vs 7g) and less calories (25 vs 28) per tablespoon compared to ours.

And then we saw the (10) ingredients. Wow! Enjoy the read.
